So, who am I?

I’m Charlie, founder of The Clinician Companion.

I work alongside Australian psychologists and private practice clinicians to build structured, compliant and professionally managed practices.

Over the past five years, I’ve specialised in supporting the infrastructure behind private practice: financial systems, BAS compliance, practice management configuration and professional brand development.

Clinical expertise doesn’t automatically translate into business structure, and it shouldn’t have to.

My role is to ensure the systems behind your practice are built properly.

My background spans business administration, bookkeeping, graphic design, IT and leadership. This combination allows me to see how the moving parts of a practice connect: financial reporting, documentation, workflows, software configuration and brand presentation.

I don’t approach these areas in isolation. I design cohesive systems that function together.

Why 'The Clinician Companion'?

I have deep respect for the work clinicians do. But I’ve seen capable professionals operating within reactive systems that create unnecessary friction.

Private practice should feel structured, not improvised.

When financial processes are compliant, workflows are configured correctly and your brand reflects your professional standard, the entire practice feels calmer and more sustainable.

That is the work I do.

As a mother of four girls, I value clarity, boundaries and systems that support real life. A mindset carries into the practices that I support.

Efficiency isn’t about doing more, it’s about building smarter foundations.

Whether you’re launching a new private practice or refining an existing one, my role is simple: To help you build a practice that feels as professional and considered behind the scenes as it does in the therapy room.

Let’s build it properly.
